Shelter Members
If you are a licensed animal shelter, or you foster dogs in your home and hold adoptions, our Foundation can help cover foster-care expenses prior to adoption. We provide support for each dog placed into the home of an adopter who lacks funds to pay adoption costs.

How Does the Program Work?
For dogs placed into safe homes—and for owners who qualify—Forever Care pays approved expenses so dogs are not euthanized by local pounds or shelters.
- Click Apply below and complete the required forms.
- You’ll receive a registration number.
- Visit any participating animal shelter or local pound and provide your registration number and our contact information.
If You Qualify, Forever Care Provides:
- ✅ Pet food
- ✅ Veterinary medical care (including yearly booster shots)
- ✅ Pet microchips and licenses
- ✅ Rabies shots (as scheduled)
- ✅ Pet toys and essentials
- ✅ Pet grooming (up to 3 times per year)
Rescue & Donations Support: Police, Fire & Ambulance
What happens if you’re in a car accident, hospitalized, or your home is damaged by fire? Too often, family dogs are taken to the pound and may be euthanized if unclaimed. If contacted, Forever Care will place the animal in foster care until the owner can return. If needed, we’ll work with Forever Care partner organizations or approved individuals to ensure the animal is cared for while awaiting a new forever home.
For EMT officers, firefighters, and ambulance personnel who rescue dogs and notify us for pickup (instead of the pound), Forever Care will donate $200 to the charity of their choice for every dog processed through the Program.
